Why “Why Uce”?

The name Why Uce originates from the Samoan word Uso, which means brother or sister. Over time, “Uce” emerged as a slang term often used among Polynesians to express camaraderie and connection.

We’ve given it deeper meaning with the phrase “Why Uce”—a name that represents inclusivity. To us, everyone is a Uce. This reflects our mission to explore the “why” behind the connections, stories, and experiences that make us all uniquely human, while celebrating the shared values that bind us together.
